In the summer of 2015 the Lord Jesus led me to a beautiful church in Hanover County that was searching for a new priest and pastor.  The Vestry of St. Paul's, Hanover had the same sense of God's leading and called me to serve the congregation here at St. Paul's.  Very appropriately my first Sunday was All Saints Day 2015.  What my family and I have found is that the people inside the church have even more beautiful hearts than you could imagine from looking at the outside.  It is truly a warm and welcoming group of followers of Jesus Christ.

If you believe the Lord is guiding you to St. Paul’s, as he did for me, I am sure you’ll find a variety of opportunities to strengthen your faith.  We offer a bible study on Wednesday nights and Sunday School for all ages at 9:20 on Sunday mornings.  We also take outreach very seriously at St. Paul’s and support many ministry throughout the year.  If you’re looking for ways to reach out to our neighbors in love St. Paul’s could be the place for you.  As a church where most people know everyone else before too long we think fellowship is very important.  We have coffee hour after both worship services and many other chances to get to know fellow worshipers. St. Paul’s is an Episcopal Church, which means we prioritize worship.  The first duty of a believer is to offer God praise and thanksgiving on the Lord’s Day.  At St. Paul’s, our worship style is both simple and reverent.  We celebrate the Lord’s Supper at both our Sunday worship services and all baptized people are invited to receive the sacrament.  I hope you will take the opportunity to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness with us.
